Ramon Briceño began his career in the manufacturing and repair of tortilla equipment in 1970, while working for Electra Food Machinery in El Monte, California. After several years, Ramon decided to start his own business providing maintenance and repair services to various tortilla factories .In 1988; he relocated his business and family to Tucson AZ. He opened Briceno Food Machinery, Inc (BFM), and continued offering his repair and maintenance services and expanded the business to include manufacturing corn tortilla machines and refurbishing equipment. In 1999, the business relocated from Tucson to Tempe, AZ to expand his business and service a larger number of customers. Mr. Briceño, continued to offer maintenance and repair services to local tortilla factories while manufacturing and refurbishing corn and flour tortilla ovens and equipment, for over 20 years. In 2014, Ramon closed BFM and reopened with a more focused approach to his business. Ramon reopened AZ Tortilla Equipment with a focus on smaller, more mobile equipment that is geared to help Restaurants and Taquerias, improve their food offerings. He continues to offer some repair and maintenance to existing clients. Ramon Briceno has had much success in his more than 40-year career. His knowledge of the industry and machinery makes him one of the most experienced experts. He has had the pleasure of working in and providing services and equipment to many areas of the US, including at Disney’s Epcot Center in Florida. His machinery has also been sold to international businesses. You can find his machines currently working in Canada, Japan, and Africa.
